Early 2007, the PlanMen Platform for forecasting, planning and pool management was established. The aim is to bring together knowledge, expertise, skills and capacity. A unique aspect of the platform is the multidisciplinary approach. In collaboration with the Nyenrode Business University, we are at the grass roots level of innovation within our discipline.

Our vision is that planning (by department or activity) fulfils a crucial role in directing and organising the entire organisation. Too often, planning is still being seen as the task of the schedulers and the computing centre. The effect that planning and its options will have on achieving an optimal balance and strong link between quantity, quality, the image and budget are often underestimated!
