PlanMen has established itself in the coach house of Business Estate Nyenrode.The name Nijenrode means newly dug earth. In around 1276, Gerard Splinter van Ruwiel had a castle built here, in the time that Utrecht was developing into a market town and the River Vecht became a linking route with the Zuider Zee (southern sea).
In 1946 the Nyenrode Foundation, Institute for Business Administration, established itself in the castle, that was purchased in 1950 by the foundation. Since 1988, the institute has been known by the name Nyenrode University.
